🌈 What an AMAZING day at the inaugural Pride Color Walk on June 7th! 🌈

Created by P.S.19Q’s very own Principal Krystle Jimenez, this walk brought together students, families, and staff from P.S.16, P.S.19, P.S.110, & M.S.311 in a powerful show of unity, support, and celebration for Pride. When schools and families join forces, we create a community where everyone feels seen, supported, and loved—and that’s exactly what we witnessed!

From colorful festivities to joyful laughter, fun was had by all. We can’t wait to see even more of our community come out and celebrate with us next year!

A huge THANK YOU to Principals Krystle Jimenez, Katherine Rodriguez, Elisa Gomez, and Beth Hert for their vision and leadership. Shout out to the incredible staff who worked so hard to make this event a success from planning and coordination, and to NYPD 110pct for keeping everyone safe. A Huge Success: Our Inaugural STEM Expo!

Our first-ever STEM Expo was a resounding success! Students showcased their innovative projects to peers, teachers, and families, fostering a school-wide culture of curiosity, creativity, and problem-solving. Hosting a STEM Expo at the elementary level is essential in nurturing young minds, as it promotes hands-on learning, critical thinking, collaboration, and inspires future careers in STEM fields.

A heartfelt thank you to Ms. Rodriguez and our administration for championing STEM education in our school community. We also extend our deepest gratitude to Ms. DeRose and Ms. Pfluger for their dedication and hard work in organizing this milestone event—it was no small feat! To our teachers and students, your projects, presentations, and passion for STEM made this event truly remarkable. A special thanks to all the staff members who contributed to making the Expo a memorable experience. And of course, we sincerely appreciate the families who attended and supported our students.
