• Civics For All Soapbox Speeches 03-14-25

  This school year, we launched the Civics for All initiative to enhance opportunities for students to develop the knowledge and skills necessary for active participation in democracy. Our goal is to empower all students to become engaged community members who think critically and contribute meaningfully to shaping the future of our city and country.
  
  As part of Civics Week, we introduced our students to Project Soapbox, a public speaking initiative that challenges young people to voice their perspectives on issues affecting their communities. Through this initiative, students not only identify and discuss pressing concerns but also propose and advocate for solutions to improve their schools, neighborhoods, and the lives of their peers.
  
  We extend our sincere appreciation to the teachers and students whose dedication and enthusiasm made this event a success. Student voices matter, and initiatives like Project Soapbox reinforce the importance of civic engagement, inspiring young people to drive meaningful change in their communities.

  Our Commonpoint Nutritional Parent Workshop was a HUGE success! 💙💛 Parents learned about the importance of the choices we make for ourselves and our children when it comes to what we put inside of our bodies. 🍎🍏 We would also like to thank the students of @loyolanyc and our staff members who donated costumes for our students in need of one🫶💫 Thank you for making the effort to help them enjoy this special day🥰

  We are SOO BACK!!💙💫💛 We had such an AMAZING turn out this week with our Parent Visits! 😱 We couldn’t be happier hosting our families to share a fun experience in the classroom with their loved ones.❤️ I.A.
